We had a great time at the Ugly Duckling Villa in Anstruther! The value for the money was fantastic and the rooms were cozy and well-decorated. The location was perfect, with beautiful sea views and easy access to the harbor, beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only breakfast option could have been better with more variety.

Amazing sea and harbor views from the accommodation. Convenient location close to St Andrews and within walking distance of restaurants and the beach.- Sufficient beds for a family of 6 with a fun kids room and cozy living room.- The living room had a faux fireplace that provided heat and games for a relaxing evening.- Our oldest child loved reading the Broon comics.
The outside area was messy and had broken items leaned against walls. The back lot needed improvement and cleaning, especially as it was visible from the big window facing the sea.

The view from the window was breathtaking, with a clear sight of the sea and harbor. It was a lovely experience to sit and enjoy the scenery while working or taking a break. the location of the property was ideal, within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars. the property itself was well-equipped and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. the provided parking was a bonus, considering how difficult it can be to find parking in the busy town.
Felt really good, nothing too much trouble.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely property in a charming coastal town. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the harbor, beach, shops, and restaurants. the house itself was beautifully decorated and well-equipped. the upside-down layout allowed me to enjoy the stunning sea view from the kitchen, bathroom, and sitting room upstairs. the clean and comfortable bedrooms downstairs provided a peaceful night's sleep. parking was provided, which was a great convenience.
The outside area was in need of upgrading, making it difficult to enjoy the fresh air and BBQ facilities, which was a bit disappointing.

We had a fantastic time staying at this upside-down house with breathtaking sea views. the living areas above the bedrooms were unique and provided a beautiful backdrop to our holiday. the short walk to the beach, restaurants, and Fisheries Museum made it very convenient for us. the peaceful and quiet surroundings added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. the house had enough beds for our family of six, and the kids loved the fun kids' room. the cozy living room with the faux fireplace was perfect for our evenings spent playing games. We also appreciated the addition of the Broon comics, which our oldest child thoroughly enjoyed. It was a memorable experience for us as young holiday goers.
Felt very special, no complaints at all.

The location was perfect, with everything within easy walking distance. the beautiful sea view from the upside-down set up of the property was a nice touch. having parking provided was a great bonus considering how busy the area can get.
The outside area was disappointing. It felt neglected and in need of upgrading, with a rough and messy yard that wasn't inviting to sit in.

Mind-blowing sea/harbor views in a cute coastal town, close to St Andrews, with walking distance to restaurants and the beach! Enough beds for a family of 6, with a fun kids room and cozy living room with a faux fireplace that gives heat and board games for a super relaxing afternoon/evening. Oldest loved the Broon comics!

During my recent stay at Ugly Duckling, I was delighted to experience the breathtaking sea view from the living room. It truly added a special touch to my vacation.
It prevented me from fully enjoying the fresh air and scenery as I had hoped.

We had a blast exploring the lively harbor and chilling on the sandy beach. The location was perfect with loads of cool shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The house itself was super cozy and had everything we needed. Plus, the sea view from the living room was sooo cool!
The only thing we wished for was a cool hangout spot for us party-loving teens. It would've been amazing to have a hip rooftop terrace or a fun game room where we could hang out and have a blast with our friends.

We got excellent value for our money with clean and well-equipped rooms. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the harbor, shops, and restaurants. The staff treated us well and made us feel welcomed.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps by offering more variety.

The bathroom was awesome! It had a fab shower that I absolutely loved. As a cleanliness freak, it made my stay super comfortable and refreshing.
The only thing I didn't fancy was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, some people might not mind it as much!
